Its not a bad idea to have a company put you through school but more than likely you are going to have to sign a 2 year contract with them. Make sure you want to dedicate at least that much time to them. A lot of your good companies you are eventually going to want to drive for requires hours in the truck anyways, so this is a good way to get it. Paying for driving school yourself is not going to tie you down to one company to begin with. There will be jobs as a driver if you go through school yourself but why gamble if you have a sure thing.
